I love chili! As soon as September hits and the first college football game is on, it is time for me to make a big pot of chili. It has pretty much become a tradition that when the first Florida Gator football game is on tv, we will be having chili.
Jump to RecipeMaking chili is a great thing to make when entertaining. It can be made early in the day and kept warm on your stovetop or it can be reheated once your guests arrive. Want to take it up a notch? Why not set up a chili bar. It is so easy and is defiantly a great way to wow your guests. Serve your chili with red onions, scallions, sliced jalapeños, cilantro leaves, lime wedges, avocado, hot sauce, and paleo “tortilla” chips. Another fun idea is to make some baked potatoes and let your guests top their baked potato with chili and all the fixings.
Over the years I have collected lots of different sized white bowls. They are a great staple to have in your kitchen and can be used for your chili bar, a salad bar, soup bar, or when you have guests over you can fill them with nuts, olives, grapes…the list goes on.
